How much is your child worth? A million? Or two? It is up to you, really. How much your child is worth All depends on you.

A Steiff  ‘Louis Vuitton’  teddy bear made in the year 2000 and measuring 45 cm (17 in) sold for €213,720.00 (US$182,550) on 14 October 2000 at Christie’s, Monaco. A collectible Steiff bear, named Teddy Girl was sold for £110,000 (US$171,600) by Christie’s, London, UK on 5 December 1994 to Japanese businessman Yoshihiro Sekiguchi. WoW! What whopping prices for mere teddy bears!

Let’s pause for a moment.

Why are collectibles so expensive? Well, because of The Creator.  And because of The Collector. The creator creates the collectibles in limited supply. The fewer the number, the higher the value.  And the collector pays whatever he likes in order to gain the right to own the item.

Let’s do a comparison here. Your Child is like a collectible …. the ONE and ONLY ONE in the entire Universe. Yes, the entire universe. Think about it!  The ONE and ONLY ONE in the entire Universe. I am not sure how big the universe is,  but this I know: From Eternity Past to Eternity Future, you cannot find another child just like yours.

How much value are you according your child? Look at my Teddy Bear. My uncle bought it for me at a Fun Fair in 1967. So how old is it? Almost 4 decades old! I believe it is not easy to find another of its kind now. It’s rare, unique and limited in number. Calling Price: $20K.  Any Arctophiles out there keen?

My point is not the $20K but the fact that I can tag a value to it any way I want it. What value do you tag to your child? $Troublesome? $Burden? $A pain in the neck?

For me, your child is $PRICELESS.  Yes ,  $PRICELESS!

Parents, Take Time for your child NOW before Time takes over and it is too late.
